Pumpkin Patch Fun

Today Dorian and Addy's Daycare took a field trip and invited me to come along! We went to a local Baptist Church pumpkin patch. They have a pumpkin patch each year to raise money for local charities. It is really cute!!! They start your visit off with a puppet show! The puppet show was about a half hour long and really catchy for little kids. And to follow each child was allowed to pick a pumpkin out of the patch!

Dorian had a field day with all of the pumpkins to look at! She didn't know which one she wanted..picked up a lot...and a lot got tossed...but FINALLY she picked the perfect one (or mommy picked it for her! ha ha). She was laying in the pumpkins at one point in time, just having a ball!!!

After we went to the local park with all of the children and played on the slides and equipment. We knew it was time to go when D started eating the sand...YUCK!!! But it was nap time and the other little boys and girl needed a nap also.

Dorian came home for a quick nap and as soon as we woke up, she and I colored her pumpkin!!!

Really a fun day!!! So happy Dorian had the opportunity (even in NM) to go to a pumpkin patch for the first time and get her own little pumpkin!!! YAY!!! I am so sad that I finally found an awesome daycare for my girls and now it is time for us to leave!!! So sad we will not be apart of next months field trips and activities!!! But hopefully we find other great people to more fun things at the next place we move to!

So cute Lyss! Still, the pumpkin patch, not worth staying so far away. You'll find some more cool patches!! :)
