Sisters

Dorian is a GREAT big sister! She is SO protective of her little sister, Addy. Today she found her pacifier and walked directly over to her in her car seat and sat there until she finally had it in Addy's mouth. Addy wasn't to happy about this, but Dorian KNEW that that's what it was for and that Addy needs it from time to time, she was trying to be a Big sister and help out! ha ha ha Every day (several times a day), Dorian will pick up Addy's bottle and bring it to either me, or throw it in the pack and play at Addy because it is what Addy always needs and that is what she thinks she is supposed to do with her bottles ha ha ha

Also...this is really funny to watch...IF Addy is laying on her tummy she will walk up to her and start patting her on the back. She sees daddy and I doing it all of the time to burp her that she thinks she is helping us by doing it also! ha ha ha Sometimes not needed at the time, but when doing it she will look up at us with a big smile, like "I'm Addy's Big Sister...Look at me help her!" ha ha ha

Over the past five weeks Dorian has made HUGE changes in her life. She now lets Addy alone in the swing, instead of trying to pull her out by her legs! She now tries to help mommy and daddy take care of Addy, instead of trying to sit on her while we are taking care of her. Dorian is now patient when there is only one of us and she needs something, as opposed to screaming on the top of her lungs until she gets what she wants. Dorian will sit at the bottom of our feet until we can get her what she wants.

Life is getting easier....There are still sometimes that I want to pull out my hair because I have a toddler and a new born...but that is to be expected I guess. For the most part things are starting to look up. Time does wonders for children...so here is to things getting better and big sisters help!
